Social Security beneficiaries electing to live abroad can collect their earned benefits just like their U.S. counterparts. In fact, according to a post by U.S. News and World Report contributor Maryalene LaPonsie, the U.S. Department of State reports that more than three-quarters of a million Social Security beneficiaries do so.
