“Gen-X” behind the 8 ball with their savings

“Gen-X’ers”, that loosely defined generation of people born between the mid-60’s and mid-80’s, seem to be heading for a painful future retirement because most of them have little or nothing saved for their so-called golden years. And, sadly, most of the articles gracing the media pages these days have headlines about either “baby boomers” or “millennials”, two groups which sit like bookends on both sides of Generation X, whose members are in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s.
