Give your retirement plan a test run
Let’s say you’ve done all your homework and have put together what you believe is a solid retirement plan to carry you through your golden years in comfort. No matter how careful you are, that plan is really just a “best guess”, because people tend to be quite conservative when developing their retirement plan, but end up spending much more aggressively than planned in their first few years after retiring. Perhaps you should consider taking your retirement plan for a test run - doing a retirement stress test of sorts - while you are still in your salary earning years.
