Have a child born in 2025 or after? Their "Trump Account" is waiting! - Social Security Administration
The Social Security Administration is making it easier for parents of recently born children to gain access to the $1000 Federal seed money in the much-reported "Trump Accounts." SSA does this by providing access instructions along with each newborn's "Enumeration at Birth" process.
The Federal Government is now offering a “no-strings” contribution of $1,000 for every child born between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2028. This “free federal money” can also be supplemented with private donations for the child’s benefit, to create a substantial investment nest egg for the child’s future retirement. And Trump Accounts can also be set up for children born earlier, but the $1,000 seed money is only available for those born in 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028. This is as reported by the Social Security Administration in this recent News Release. And still more information can be found at www.trumpaccounts.gov.
