Over the years, we’ve seen–and posted–many articles describing what’s ahead for retirees as they face the costs of maintaining health in their later years. And it’s not just the raw dollars…it’s the quote that “…the average couple will spend 68% of its Social Security benefits on healthcare” that makes one shudder.
