House Ways and Means Comments on Bipartisan Bill to Clarify Social Security Language

In a post yesterday, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (MO-08) voiced support for the Claiming Age Clarity Act,noting that the bill “will help ensure that Americans do not accidentally claim benefits earlier than they should, are completely informed, and don’t potentially miss out on substantial income during their retirement years.” The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) is a supporter of this bill.
