Improvement in Workforce Participation Cited as a Key to Dealing with Insolvency

One of the highlights of the recent House Ways and Means Social Security Subcommittee hearing was an observation by Rep. Blake Moore (UT-01) “…that getting Americans into the workforce is part of the solution to strengthening Social Security.” Rep. Moore’s testimony called for the development of “innovative solutions” increasing workforce productivity as one of the pathways to warding off insolvency.
