Social Security at an Inflection Point?

After a period of administrative and procedural turmoil, America’s Social Security program is staring down the barrel of a leadership change that could propel the program one way…or another. The current Acting Social Security Commissioner, Leland Dudek represents a well-intentioned but somewhat frustrated command style. At the same time, the nominated and yet-to-be-confirmed Frank Bisignano brings a “hard-charging, demanding executive” style to the table. We’ll need to sit tight and await the Senate confirmation process, and at the same time hold our collective breath while President Trump’s DOGE team sifts through the nooks and crannies of the massive Social Security System.
