How to get the $4,555 Max Monthly Social Security Benefit
The maximum Social Security benefit of $54,660 annually ($4,555/month) is not easy to obtain. Kailey Hagen notes only an elite few are able to pull off getting it. Three steps are required: 1.) work 35 or more years; 2.) earn at or above the maximum wage base for every one of those years (it’s $160,200 for 2023); wait until age 70 to claim benefits.
