In Defense of Social Security Administration Staff

There are many perceptions around the country regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of the Social Security Administration and its field staff, and there are a number of “war stories” about bad experiences folks have had. As is the case in many service evaluation areas, bad experiences are more apt to take on legendary status more quickly than good experiences. That’s life.
