In March, our nation celebrates Women’s History Month

For over 80 years, Social Security has served a vital role in the lives of women. With longer life expectancy than men, women have more years in retirement and have a greater chance of exhausting other sources of income and relying solely on their Social Security benefit. Today more than ever, women work, pay Social Security taxes, and earn credit toward their monthly retirement income, making it important for them to plan early and wisely for retirement.
