Is a 2026 retirement in your plan?
Taking that step into retired life is a big move, and it takes a fair amount of careful planning. Even if you’ve been thinking about it for a long time, there are a few short0range questions you might want to consider just to be sure you’re prepared.
For example, a re-check of your expected income stream is always a good idea, as is the issue of when to claim your Social Security benefit. Finally, do you have a plan for your free time after leaving the regimen of a job?
These key questions are explored in a recent post my Motley Fool contributor Maurie Backman on their website. Check it out here.
