Key Social Security Unknowns (Unfortunately)

There are several key Social Security parameters that govern an effective claiming strategy, but unfortunately many of them remain unknown to a large portion of those aging into eligibility. For example, as discussed in an article by gobankingrates.com, nearly 40% of the folks surveyed by the Nationwide Retirement Institute recently were unaware of their full retirement age–the age at which their monthly benefit would not be reduced for filing early. Check out this post here for a good recap of some key facts.
