Lack of savings again found concerning by more than half of American workers

A recent Bankrate survey reiterated what has been a recurring concern among American workers looking ahead to retirement. In fact, “…a full 52 percent of American workers say their retirement savings are not where they need to be.” Fox 25 reporter Mireya Garcia summarizes the survey results in a post on their website, leading her article with this comment, “If you feel like you aren’t keeping up with retirement savings, you’re not alone.” Her article also discusses the options available to workers who do not have access to a workplace savings plan, focusing on the benefits of an IRA to mitigate these concerns.
