Lowering Medicare Age to 60? A Step Toward Socialism
With unwavering consistency, those on the political left push for change that expands Government and lessens individual choice. Obamacare is a prime example of that strategy, which didn’t pan out the way most on the left had dreamed. Promises broken and higher premiums knelled a reality that socialized medicine wasn’t such a great idea after all. But, according to this article by Roger Stark appearing at the Washington Policy Center’s blog, the left’s latest proposal to lower Medicare’s eligibility age to 60 is yet another misguided attempt at socialized medicine, a concept which is, quite simply, means massively higher taxes and more limited choices.
