Many baby boomers are approaching retirement with too little savings

With about 10,000 baby boomers turning 65 every day, you may be wondering how well they are prepared for retirement.  A recent survey shows the level of savings by category, but reveals that about half of all baby boomers have less than $100,000 saved for their golden years, which may not be enough.  This article by Todd Campbell of The Motley Fool shows savings by percentage of baby boomers, and also offers some thoughts about how Social Security fits into retirement planning and what to do to now to boost those savings.  Click here to read more.
