Many workers have a strong interest in assistance with building emergency savings - Plan Sponor

The recent survey by the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI) and the Greenwald Research found 60 percent of employees say their employer-sponsored retirement plan contributes a lot to them feeling financially secure.  The 2021 Workplace Wellness Survey finds “of those with an employer-sponsored retirement plan, seven in 10 reports that they understand their benefits extremely or very well and six in 10 say they are satisfied with their plan.” Also, the survey reports that almost half of employees expressed at least a moderate concern about their household’s financial well-being with saving for retirement, and having savings in case of an emergency is a source of financial stress to them.
