Medicare Part D (drug) plan premiums expected to soar in 2024! - CISION PR Newswire

Fresh on the heels of the announcement that Medicare’s Part B premium for outpatient healthcare coverage is going up by nearly $10 per month next year, is this equally disturbing news that premiums for Medicare Part D prescription drug plans are also expected to soar. This despite earlier predictions that Part D premiums were expected to decline as a result of the so-called Inflation Reduction Act. Based on a recent analysis, three of the nation’s largest private Medicare plan providers will be charging an average of 42% to 57% more for their Part D plans in 2024, over 2023 plan costs. Disturbing news, to say the least.

All of this is explained in detail in this Healthview Services report appearing at CISION PR Newswire. Click here to read more about how and why Medicare Part D prescription drug plan costs will be much higher in 2024.
