Military Veterans – Are You Eligible for VA benefits? - Veterans Administration
As a country, we have no higher obligation than that owed to our military veterans, whose sacrifices made the freedoms we enjoy available. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, known more familiarly as the “Veterans Administration (VA), provides eligible U.S. military veterans with comprehensive healthcare services (as well as other services like the “GI Bill”). As someone who regularly uses VA healthcare, I can personally testify that the healthcare services I receive are excellent. But many veterans who are eligible for VA services do not take advantage of them. And that’s a shame which the VA has recently taken steps to alleviate and improve access to services for America’s veteran community. In my personal observation, VA services have improved dramatically recently.
In the words of VA Secretary Doug Collings, “We have transformed VA from a bureaucratic organization to a service organization, where Veterans come first in everything we do.” If you are a military veteran, it is easy to see if you qualify for VA benefits by using the links provided in this article.
