Millennials and 401ks…The Opportunity to Save Likely to Continue

Contrary to many media accounts, millennials–those born between the early 1980s and 2000–are not saving enough to ensure their retirement. Recent studies, however, have dispelled this rumor, indicating that “A higher percentage of millennials are contributing to their company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan than either Gen Xers or Baby Boomers…” and President Trump has vowed to keep the 401k tool in play. Chandler Thornton of the Washington Examiner examines this topic in an article posted today on washingtonexaminer.com.
