Millions of Baby Boomers choose work over retirement

‘Baby boomers’ are changing the way they live the latter part of their lives. Instead of retiring, they are starting a new career. More than 9 million ‘baby boomers’ between ages 64 and 70 are currently in the so-called ‘encore stage’ of their life. Forgetting about retirement and choosing instead to start entirely new careers that provide a new meaning and purpose to their lives while contributing to the greater good.
