Negative economic outlook is spilling into retirement worries - Plan Sponor

The Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America released the findings from their latest research showing the negative economic outlook is causing concerns about retirement savings. The 2022 Q1 Quarterly Market Perceptions Study found less than half of the respondents said the economy will improve in 2022. Another 43 percent of the participants are “too nervous” to invest in the market. “Anxiety about the risks of volatility on retirement savings is higher than it has been in a year,” the study states.
