Optimistic about the future of Social Security

Despite all the fear-mongering on social media saying Social Security is going bankrupt and will not be able to pay Social Security benefits, over half of the respondents to a recent survey said they expect to receive Social Security benefits. Of the current retirees, 53 percent said they “believe they will continue to receive their full Social Security benefits, up from 37 percent in 2010 and 49 percent in 2015.” Nora Colomer explains why Americans are more optimistic about the future of Social Security.
