Redesigned Social Security Statement – A Big Improvement!
Many Americans have, for years, received a statement from the Social Security Administration which reflects their projected retirement benefits. The statement comes annually for those approaching retirement age, and has been available online for years for those who have created a “my Social Security” online account. But the old design, unchanged for many years, was not particularly attractive nor especially informative. Now, Social Security has announced that the old Social Security statement has been completely redesigned and is now available via your online account, and will be mailed in the future to those age 60 or older who are not yet collecting and do not have an online Social Security account.
