Reminder: Your Social Security Check Is Likely to Change This Month

The Motley Fool’s Christy Bieber, in a post today on tulsaworld.com, highlights the point that many–maybe most–Social Security beneficiaries will see their monthly payment amounts change this month. As she explains, the changes will come from two areas…the application of the cost-of-living adjustment (the 5.9% we’ve all been hearing so much about) and the potential for additional federal income tax withholding for those who’ve opted for this feature.
