Retirement Preparedness

A poll published by Wells Fargo found that most of those nearing retirement age have not saved half as much as they would have liked. The poll found that the median savings was $150,000 while the goal was $500,000 in working adults just 5 years away from retirement. Those polled said that they planned to save more in the future, yet that future is running out quick. One common plan is working during retirement, but this usually brings a change in career and a significant cut in both hours and pay.
