Retirement Savings: Good news, bad news

America is suffering, as has been widely reported in the media, a “retirement crisis”, because most Americans are woefully short on the savings plan they’ll need to retire comfortably. But it seems like the first quarter of 2019 has revealed some good news – specifically that American’s are generally contributing much more to their 401(k) plans to save for their future retirement. The bad news?  Well, despite the increase in contributions to 401(k) plans by both employees and employers, it’s probably not enough.
