Save your Social Security card; you’ll need it for “RealID”
In a somewhat tongue in cheek narration of his visit to the Motor Vehicle to obtain a “RealID” license, reporter Dennis Dalman describes how not having his Social Security card on hand meant her couldn’t get that special “RealID” drivers license. RealID is a special drivers license from your State DMV which can be used a valid ID for domestic air travel after October 2020. If you don’t have a RealID license after that date, your normal driver’s license will no longer suffice as identification for air travel (a passport will still work).
