Scam Alert: Here We Go Again

Scams about Social Security top the list of complaints received at the Federal Trade Commission, with cyber-criminals targeting our most vulnerable population – America’s senior citizens. The calls often purport to be from Social Security to advise you of a “problem” with your account, and usually include a supposed offer of help to resolve. The fact is this: Social Security will never call you unless you are already working with them or you have requested them to call you.
