September 11th – Never Forget
September 11, 2001 was, to paraphrase FDR, a “date which will live in infamy.” It was a day when nearly 3000 Americans died in terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center in New York City, at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and on board United Airlines flight 93 which crashed in Pennsylvania. Today is a day of remembrance, to honor and pray for those who perished, and to remind ourselves to never forget that horrible act of terrorism. And to also remember the way our country joined hands in solidarity in that time of crisis – a lesson which should remind us today that we are all still Americans. Here at the AMAC Foundation, we remember those who lost their lives on that fateful day, and we will never forget.
