Social Security Benefits Ex-Spouses may be eligible for.

If you are divorced but married to your ex-spouse for at least ten years you may qualify for benefits under your ex-spouse’s Social Security record. If you have children from your ex-spouse and they are under age 16 or disabled, the length of marriage requirement is waived, and you may be eligible for a child-in-care benefit up to the age of 62.
