Social Security Commissioner Saul Fired

In an unprecedented move, President Biden fired Social Security commissioner Andrew Saul on Friday, after Saul refused Biden’s request to resign from his appointed post. Using a previous Supreme Court ruling regarding a different Federal agency as presumed authority, Biden removed Saul as Commissioner citing various alleged derelictions of duty. Still, many Republican’s believe the move is yet another example of Biden summarily removing government leaders appointed by his predecessor.
