Social Security is more than just a retirement benefit. In fact, Social Security also helps to protect your family. It provides benefits for your family should you become unable to work or pass away. Most young people tend not to pay any attention to Social Security; in fact, some don’t believe it will be there when they get older. As long as people continue to work and pay into Social Security, it can never go broke.
