Social Security office lauded for supporting National Guard soldier

We often hear negative stories about Social Security offices and agents, so it’s great to be able to highlight a very positive story about the Grand Island, Nebraska Social Security office.  The local Social Security office there was presented with a “Seven Seals” award to recognize their unwavering support for a National Guard soldier throughout his deployment, including care packages and emails with potential job openings when he returned from active duty.  This article in The Grand Island Independent tells the story.  Click here to read more.
