Social Security’s New Online Look

Social Security has upgraded their website to make it easier for those seeking information, or applying for their benefits. The new changes debuted on Tuesday, December 6th, revealing a much more aesthetically pleasing landing page, and quick access to functions commonly used when accessing Social Security. If you are checking on the status of your personal Social Security dealings, you will need to contact the Social Security Administration directly by calling 1.800.772.1213, or by calling your local Social Security field office (find the local office number at http://www.ssa.gov/locator). You can also visit your personal online “my Social Security” account at http://www.ssa.gov/myaccount which will include the status of any pending actions regarding your benefits.
