Stimulus Payment Confusion
Many folks eligible for economic impact (stimulus) payments are still waiting, and the IRS just issued an alert affecting two eligibility classes: Supplemental Security Income and Department of Veterans Affairs beneficiaries. Ms. Gale’s post also covers recent enhancements to the IRS “Get My Payment” tool, including this statement from IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig “We urge people who haven’t received a payment date yet to visit Get My Payment again for the latest information.”
