Supreme Court Justice Breyer Retiring

There are probably few Americans who aren’t already aware that Justice Stephen Breyer has announced his forthcoming retirement from the Supreme Court. That announcement has set Washington D.C. pundits and politicians all aglow with speculation, discussion and angst over who will be nominated as his replacement and how that nomination will play out in the months preceding the 2022 Congressional elections.
