Take a Look at Social Security’s Social Media Presence

As Tevye said to Golde in the Broadway hit Fiddler on the Roof, “It’s a new world,” and no where is this more evident than in Social Security’s online presence in the various forms of American social media. Of course, even most of us older folks are by now familiar with internet websites, and Social Security’s website is an important resource to anyone with questions about their benefit options. Facebook, Youtube, and “blogs” are also other mainstays of Social Security’s media presence, much to the delight of many “baby boomers.”  But for the younger generations – known as Generations X, Y and Z – social media portals such as  “Instagram” and “Twitter” are more appropriate, and Social Security has them all covered.
