Tax Bill Floor Vote Could Happen Next Week

Bloomberg News reports that a floor vote on tax reform could happen by the end of November, a suggested timeline that is in keeping with President Trump’s intent to see the bill on his desk by the Christmas Holiday. From a Social Security perspective, the key benefits projected as a result of the reform package include the creation of more jobs and increased paychecks, both of which would improve the flow of tax dollars into the Social Security System. Read the Bloomberg report here, and also check out this press release form the House Ways and Means Committee describing the potential impact of the tax reform legislation.
