It’s a persistent dilemma for retirees and soon-to-be retirees–the concern over outliving one’s accumulated nest egg  in retirement. And it’s a valid concern, since statistically, surveys show that many folks have not been able to save at levels that would sustain the type of lifestyle they’d prefer in retirement.
