There’s no question that the COVID-19 pandemic has had, and is continuing to cause a massive upheaval in life as we’ve known it. And, unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any near-term relief in sight, at least with respect to a return to normal (whatever that is). It’s also fair to say that the impacts have been disproportionately felt by several demographic segments, like the elderly and the physically vulnerable, and the female segment of the workforce is one of those segments that has been adversely affected more than some others.
