The power of retirement planning - Benefits Pro

In the latest study from Fidelity’s State of Retirement Planning, many Americans who thought their retirement planning was on track before the pandemic now find their plans detoured or even derailed. The study found “most Americans (69 percent) describe themselves as proactive or planners, and 64 percent either have a plan or have thought in detail about how to afford their desired lifestyle in retirement.” Even though both men and women report similar recovery timelines, “far more women say they are not sure just how far back they are.” Alan Goforth’s article appearing on the Benefits Pro website (benefitspro.com) reviews the results of the survey.
