There is a Social Security scam going around and it’s nationwide

There is a nationwide telephone impersonation scheme happening right now according to the Social Security Administration and the Office of the Inspector General. The scammers are pretending to be government officials in hopes of stealing identities. The Social Security is urging everyone to always be cautious and to avoid providing sensitive information to unknown people over the phone or Internet.
