Veterans: Social Security Administration may offer a new career

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a Veterans Employment Initiative which offers veterans the tools, training and information needed to help them prepare for a new career with the SSA.  In fact, 25% of the SSA’s new hires in 2016 were veterans.  In this blog, Dr. Reginald Wells, SSA’s Deputy Commissioner of the Office of Human Resources, explains the Veterans Employment Initiative and provides a link to the Opportunities for Veterans webpage, designed especially for veterans seeking SSA employment.  Click here to read more.
