West Virginia Reports Progress in Tackling Disability Fraud

Working in partnership with the Social Security Administration, West Virginia’s Cooperative Disability Investigations (CDI) Unit has achieved a reported another $2.24 million in savings through detection of fraudulent disability claims. This latest savings report, reflecting the second quarter 2019 activity, adds to the $18.5 million in savings since the 2015 inception of the program.
