When claiming Social Security at 62 is a bad idea

Of course, there’s never a simple answer to the question of when to apply for Social Security.  Each person’s circumstance is different, and for married couples there are actually two people whose benefits might be affected by the decision.  At first glance, the promise of extra income from claiming early may seem tempting, but there are at least a couple of really good reasons why waiting to apply makes very good sense.  This Motley Fool article by Sean Williams offers two scenarios where taking your Social Security early is a really bad idea.  Click here to read more.
