Yet another scam: Paying bills using a Federal Routing number

Apparently a hoax perpetrated by tax protesters, the latest scam is conning people into believing that by using their Social Security number and a provided special Federal bank routing number, bills and debts can be paid from a “secret” stash of government money.  Those who have fallen for this find that bills which they thought were being paid were, instead, becoming delinquent with all the consequences thereof.  This latest scam is explained in a Detroit Free Press article by Susan Tompor appearing at wzzm13.com.   Click here to read more.
