2027 COLA Watch: Are Projections Slipping? - www.theglobeandmail.com
Less than a week before the official Bureau of Labor Statistics release of September CPI-W figures, speculation is emerging that the resulting 2027 Social Security cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) may fall short of earlier estimates. A Motley Fool article posted yesterday afternoon on theglobeandmail.com recaps recent observations from The Senior Citizens League (TSCL), which point to a 3.5% bump, down from its previous estimate of 3.6%.
