Dayton Warms to Elements of House Republican Tax Plan But Still Cool to Most, Especially Size
It’s too soon to call it a budget breakthrough, but Gov. Mark Dayton has offered an opening to a compromise with House Republicans on taxes. Dayton spoke favorably on Monday about two elements of the $2 billion tax-cut plan the House approved last week. But he criticized the size of the overall package.
