The Charitable Generation

Baby Boomers are slated to give more than $8 trillion to charities over the next 20 years. This increase in giving is being attributed to increased retirement rates and increasing life spans meaning that more and more Boomers are free to volunteer and donate where they haven’t been able to in the past. Many retirees are turning to charities in order to make a difference how they always wanted to, not only donating money, but their time and talents that that they have honed over their careers.
